Raising Awareness –

15 Square aim to improve public and professional awareness about the harms of circumcision. Many of these harms have been ignored and under-appreciated until recently, though there is still a long way to go. We use the stories and personal accounts of real people to encourage better awareness, especially regarding the psychological impacts of circumcision.

Offering Support –

15 Square offer support to men who have been physically or psychologically affected by circumcision, as well as those close to people who have been affected. We also assist men and parents who wish to avoid resorting to unnecessary circumcisions for medical issues.

Promoting Research –

A common claim by medical professionals is that they are unaware of the harms associated with circumcision due to conflicts in existing literature. We gather evidence to use for research purposes in order to bring policy changes and greater understanding from medical professionals.

There has never been a long term study of circumcision satisfaction, and the psychological impacts have never been accounted for in medicine. We aim to change this.

Benevity charitable giving.

Through research and investigation into publicly available educational material and drawing from the experiences that we as a men’s health charity have from the contacts received into the charity, we are quite concerned about the resources available to educate teenage boys, who have little understanding about foreskin function, whether it is supposed to retract or how to do it.

They have had no education regarding the care of the foreskin and feel there is no one they can talk to about it.
