15 Square are not an emergency service, however we do try to give support and solidarity to the men who feel isolated and unheard. Many men find our meetings and support network a helpful reminder that they are not alone, and this affirms that there are people out their who acknowledge the challenges they face. Male Suicide: Our Statement.
15 Square have been in operation as an organisation since 1994. From our very first meeting, theme of deep emotional distress has been a topic of conversation. Over the past 30 years we have had ongoing discussions within the organisation ranging from trauma, coping mechanisms, and even suicide.
We are aware of several men, that have taken their own lives over the years, and even more that have some form of psychological impact that they struggle with. Some are members of our organisation, some are not, but many men carry the burden of suicidal ideation. Their difficulties are often linked to the lasting psychological and physical harm of circumcision. This is an overlooked issue in men’s health. Too many suffer in silence, unseen and unsupported.
Our mission is to change that.

At 15 Square we provide a safe, non-judgemental community where men can talk about their experiences, access accurate information, and find peer support from those who understand.
