For the past 3 months, 15 Square have been working alongside medical students from Keele Medical School. With 6 projects underway, each group has contributed to researching and producing information using medical journals and online resources.
All 11 medical students have been 1st class!
These projects will form the foundation for 15 Square’s larger goal of updating the information on our website in order to create a more comprehensive knowledge base for our service users. This will be completed in the coming weeks.
Additional to the individual projects, we have 11 future professionals who have now been introduced to some complex issues surrounding male health, informed consent, due process, and the shaky history of medical circumcision.
We have been impressed by the aptitude of Keele’s medical students. Some of our students have gone far above and beyond the requirements of our mini-projects and we hope to have opened them up to the interesting (yet vastly understudied!) world of male health.
This week 15 Square said goodbye to a long-term member of our charity. Tony Forester who sadly passed away was a keen advocate for education, and we are happy to say that he was incredibly pleased to see the students who attended our Zoom sessions. He was very cheerful that the next generation of medical professionals will be able to provide the best quality advice to future patients.

On a personal level, from all of us at 15 Square, we would like to say a huge thank you to our placement students and this years interns who have given valuable help to a humble charity with big aspirations. We hope that you will stay in touch, and we are confident that you will all have very bright futures ahead of you!
