For 15 Square to campaign effectively, we need your consent to store and share the stories. Personally identifiable information is removed before using these stories in any way (we remove all names and email addresses). We aim to use these as evidence to demonstrate that there are men who have been harmed by circumcision. Currently the psychological complications from circumcision are ignored, but we need your permission to prove this.
These stories will be shared with medical professionals as evidence of men’s personal experiences, as well as educational and awareness campaigns, some of which will be in collaboration with other organisations. None of your personal information other than the stories will be shared.
You have the right to withdraw your story and consent at any time. For this reason we will retain the original document that you send in, along with the original email. This will not be shared externally whatsoever. When withdrawing consent, simply use the same email address used for submission, or describe the story and any identifiable information. We can then immediately withdraw your submission and any personal data (email address) from any further activities from 15 Square. For further questions, assistance, or to withdraw consent, email info@15square.org.uk
By sending in your story, you are acknowledging the purposes and grant consent to share these anonymously in this manner.
If you are a parent and wish to share your story, we would like to hear your story too.
The information that is most useful to help us with our mission:
1. Your age.
2. Your background and reason for circumcision, if known. (e.g. atheist upbringing, with a medical circumcision).
3. How old were you when you received your circumcision?
4. How do you feel circumcision has affected your life?
5. How has your circumcision affected your relationships with others, (e.g. partners, parents or religious/cultural community?)
6. As many other details and thoughts that you wish to share.
