  1. It is the prerogative of all humane people to resist this hideous practice. Religious belief, of whatever stripe, cannot be allowed special privileges. Mutilating the genitals of minors, male or female, without their informed consent is already a crime. Why is it not prosecuted as such? And why are girls protected where boys are not? And why do medical practitioners routinely contravene medical ethics by violating the principles of respect for autonomy and non-maleficence? “Circumcision” has to be referred to as what it is – male genital mutliation – and objections, especially on religious grounds, should be overridden on the basis of demonstrable ethical and humanitarian precepts. Keep up the good work!

  2. learned that we can not reason with unreasonable people regarding infant male circumcision. this insane practice here in america, where i live, will end some day. my kids are the only family members who are intact. my tactic to educate others is to use junk mail, postage paid, response envelopes with the words; “say NO to circumcision” and hopefully convince someone who is on the fence about this subject. by the way, circumcision advocates should mutilate their pets genitals also. at least be consistently unreasonable.
