The popular video game streamer Jason Zimmerman (also known as ‘Mew2King’) was compelled to share his deeply personal trauma about his badly performed infant circumcision.
He said the impact from this trauma, had left him feeling that it was “hopeless to be happy”.
The lack of sensation has left him with severe suicidal depression and has taken away one of the most important parts of his sexual identity.
This video may be upsetting to some, but it is important.
Stories like Jason’s are the reason 15 Square was formed.
This story resonates deeply with us. It is a story that is all too common yet the few men who do step forward are often dismissed.
Jason (Mew2King) describes this as his “biggest secret” and until he felt compelled to come forward, he said that he was considering deleting the whole chapter in his upcoming book that covered his circumcision struggles.
He expressed how unfair it is that he was left feeling that he can not experience the pleasure that other people can as he has been left without any pleasurable sensation.
Many men in Jason’s (Mew2King) position feel like their sexuality has been stolen.
15 Square is passionate about reaching as many people as possible, not only to offer support but to educate the public and to uphold fundamental human rights, regarding consent. We work tirelessly to change the public narrative.
The feelings that Mew2King shared of being sacred of ridicule and “being made fun of his whole life” are mirrored time and again in the enquiries that 15 reviews regularly

“Jason literally just got essentially forced into exposing a private medical problem that comes attached with arguably the most stigma of anything in society. It doesn’t make you any less of a person man.”
We couldn’t agree more!
Most often people who have experienced trauma in relation to their own circumcision feel that they are alone with their feelings, nothing could be further from the truth, all over the world, people see out the advice and support of organisations like 15 Square in the hopes of finding some solidarity.
Reddit is a network of online communities based on people’s interests, the people over at freely discuss their thoughts and feelings about this important topic. Find the forum here.
15 Square decided we would like to take part too, to offer the support and information we offer to as many people who need it and to educate ourselves on how we can better serve all those who find us, so 15 Square is now a proud member of Reddit.
We are looking forward to taking part in valuable discussions to help support men in any way we can, and we hope to see you over there too.
Jason, if you are reading this, please do not give up hope. There are people who do understand, and we will do our best to help you and others in this situation.
